Year 3 Class 10 Newsletter 16th July 2018

Date: 15th Jul 2018 @ 6:55pm

Dear Parents,

Well, here it is; our last full week together as a class.  It's been an absolute pleasure to be your child's teacher.  I truly mean that.

We've had some fantastic times together and I know the children are so proud of their acheivements this year.  We have been to Rome, fought battles, built forest homes, painted portraits, written stories, reports and even letters to crayons, ran quicker than before, jumped higher, calculated bigger numbers, learned new things about our world, dressed up, read book after book after book together, designed new things, imagined, sang many songs, performed, prayed, and most of all - smiled.

Your children have impressed me, made me smile, looked after me and every day I say thank you for being lucky enough to do the job I do.  Thank you to you all for helping with reading, spellings, homework, box building, battery finding and supporting our wonderful school in every way you can.  I honestly really appreciate it. So, thank you.

Your children will go into Year 4 excited and ready for new challenges next year and I know they will love their new teacher.  We move up on Wednesday for an hour to get to know each other.

We also have our guitar concert on Monday, get to watch the choir on Tuesday and it's our leavers assembly on Friday.

It's been a great year, and I have only been here since November!  I'm sure I'll get to see some of you next year and I'll make sure I see your children every day.

So, thank you again for everything you do. We can't do this without you all.

Have a wonderful summer and if you do anything at all this summer, please read, go outside, climb trees, make something, write, sing, visit family and help someone.

Kind regards,

Mr Chris Waterworth.
