Class 10 Year 3 2017 - 2018

Mrs Moreau

Welcome to Class 10's page!

We are now in the second half of the Summer Term.

Our RE topic this half term is Being a Christian'. Our class assembly on this topic will be on Friday 16th June.

This half term, we are learning about Chester and Castra Deva for our geography topic. We will be learning about physical and human geographical features and reflect upon our Romans topic to discover why the Romans chose to settle at Castra Deva.

In English, we will be reading 'Into the Forest' by Anthony Browne and writing a letter, a diary entry and a retelling of the story.

In Maths, we are going to be revising fractions, before returning to work on multiplication and division. We will also continue our work on measurement, including telling the time.

Class 10 will continue with their guitar lessons this term, in addition to going to swimming lessons on a Wednesday afternoon. Please make sure you bring in a letter if your child wears goggles when swimming.

I look forward to another exciting and busy half term with Class 10. Please see the attached Curriculum Map for important dates this term and come and speak to me if you have any questions.
